“They don’t care about women’s reproductive or any human rights. MAGA is all about ‘ Me,'” said PatrickDoyle_.

More Bodies for War

According to one X user, the reason Republicans want to limit or remove women’s reproductive rights is so they can increase the population, which ultimately leads to more soldiers.

“The only reason the extreme right is rolling back women’s reproductive rights is because the population of the country is dropping, and they need fresh bodies for the economy and for war,” suggested @Pensandpages. “It was never about morals and never about God.”

X Users Defend Trump

However, given the former US President’s popularity among Republican voters, it wasn’t long before many jumped to his aid in the comments section of King’s post.

King’s Problem With Trump

According to Newsweek, King’s vendetta against Trump appears to date back to at least 2016, when the author was one of around 450 writers who signed a letter protesting Trump’s candidacy.

Back in March, it was evident King’s mind had not changed. He wrote, “If you voted for Biden in 2020 and are thinking of voting for Trump this time, keep this in mind: In Trump’s grab for power, he tried to steal your Biden vote by rendering it null and void.”

The Onslaught Continues Following Trump's Conviction

In a follow-up tweet, King argues that Trump tried to put himself in a no-lose situation. However, the author reinforces the fact that he was found guilty.

“Trump has tried to put himself in a no-lose position. If the jury found him innocent, he could have said they saw it for what it was: a politically motivated witch hunt. Found guilty, he can say it was rigged by Joe Biden, who had nothing to do with it,” wrote King.
